The Satellite pendant light, originally designed by Mathieu Mategot in 1953, is a lantern-like pendant made using Mategots innovative Rigitulle technique. Constructed from a sheet of metal, bent and folded to form an oblong shape, the perforated and pleated shade creates the illusion of soft fabric, elegantly filtering a soft light.
