It all started with the Low Light Gilet - a classic padded vest that was one of the very first Sounder products we ever created. We did a small production run to test the market, and it quickly became apparent that we needed to make more. We updated the original Low Light Gilet with a new version featuring the same classic cut, but a new Eco-Cambric fabric - and that one sold out too.

So when we came to thinking about our next range of outerwear, we knew we wanted another take on the classic golf gilet. But as we developed the quilted model that became the new Play Lite range, we started to play around with the sleeves - and hence, the Play Lite Jacket was born.

The Play Lite Jacket has all the same features as its cousin the Play Lite Gilet - a nylon and polyester construction that packs up small but doesn’t compromise on warmth, a snap button fastening and deep pockets inside and out.

But it also has a sleeve that turns the humble gilet into something a little bit different. It still offers the full range of motion that makes the vest style such a hit with golfers, but the short sleeves are perfect for those cooler mornings on the course, and styling out cool evenings on the town. Available in Silver, Navy and a vibrant Amber.
