The Winged Victory of Samothrace, also known as the Nike of Samothrace, is a celebrated Hellenistic marble sculpture depicting Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, created around the 2nd century BC.

Renowned for its extraordinary sense of motion and drama, the figure appears to descend onto the prow of a ship, her wings unfurled and her garments swept back by the wind, capturing a powerful moment of triumph and divine presence.

Since 1884, the original has been prominently displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where it remains one of the most iconic works of ancient sculpture. Often regarded as a pinnacle of Hellenistic artistry, it is admired for its masterful balance between force, elegance, and timeless grandeur.
