In 1976, Billy Cobham and George Duke, a piano and keyboard player who had been steadily releasing leader albums in the early 1970s, formed the band with Alfonso Johnson, the second bassist of Weather Report, and John Scofield, a guitarist who had just made his debut as a leader one year before the band's debut. The Billy Cobham-George Duke Band was formed in 1976. This is a rare archive of their European tour in 1976.
