FOR SALE:  Zero Clearance insert for mitre saw 

This 3D printed item replaces the wide original blade insert to reduce tear out and allow for cutting thin strips of stock reducing the risk of them falling between the blade guard. New insert allow you to choose what blade you want, and unlike factory insert keeps small pieces of wood from falling down into saw. Made from PETG and design allows you to swap out the 4 original screws in the original insert plate directly into the new one. Insert are manufactured in the 3D printing process and are very robust. The surface has no "finish", i.e. it is not post-treated (sanded and/or varnished) but remains as it comes from the 3D printer. Due to the process technology (3D printing), small optical defects can never be ruled out. However, these amount purely to the optics and do not affect the function of the slider. This product is not an original part from miter saw, and is not provided by the manufacturer. I don't encourage you to use none orginial parts.
