Additional Details: Titled "Nature Morte au Bouquet" (Still Life with Bouquet), this original lithograph was created by Marc Chagall and printed by his renowned lithographer, Charles Sorlier, at the Mourlot print shop. This particular piece is an extra proof from the edition printed for Chagall Lithographe II (1957-1962), published by André Sauret in Paris in 1963. Typically, 5-10% more prints are made during production to account for any flaws, and this is one of those additional prints. The lithograph appears on page 113 of the book, which features text by Fernand Mourlot in French and is the second volume in a series of five catalogues that document Chagall's lithographic work. This edition specifically covers works from 1957 to 1962, including twelve lithographs created exclusively for this publication.
