Mater Design’s Ocean collection is an outdoor series that was originally designed in 1955 by Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel. The collection’s distinctly Danish aesthetic features a lightweight appearance with repeated slats and a metal frame. Each piece is crafted from 100% recycled post-consumer waste with 20% recycled steel piping, keeping waste out of oceans. Designed for disassembly, each component can be taken apart, allowing it to be recycled into new production circles.
