The pairing of flowers and tea has been cherished for generations. Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, developed alongside tea culture as a practice of presence, sensitivity, and quiet observation.
When choosing flowers or tea, it may feel like a conscious decision, or perhaps something more subtle, like quiet feeling that gently arises within you. Together we explore that inner sensation through tea and floral expression.
During this workshop, we will:
*Experience a traditional tea ceremony with specially selected teas
*Explore the connection between tea, flowers, and sensory awareness
*Learn the basic tools and techniques of ikebana
*Create a personal flower arrangement inspired by the tea experience
*Discover flowers as a form of self-expression and mindfulness A calm and relaxing experience; open to all.
After the workshop you can take home the flowers. If you wish to take home the tools as well, you are able to purchase them with the host.
