Very bright, limpid crimson. Really quite sweet and rich and very different in character and class from the village wine much tighter and more ambitious. There is just so much turbo charged fruit here. Lots of fine tannins and energy on the finish. This wine gives the sense of being so good that it has no need to make the taster love
