• Roller Bearing Clutch: The unique Roller Bearing Clutch ensures a consistently high chain tension and a secure chain line even without chain guide.
  Exact Actuation: To enable quick and precise switching operations, SRAM uses the proven 1: 1 ratio of Bowden cable movement to derailleur deflection.
  
• X-HORIZON: The parallelogram design of the derailleur restricts all shifting movements to the horizontal axle . This reduces the force required for switching and the switching process is much more precise. The strong offset of the upper shifting wheel ensures constant chain spacing across all gears.
  
• CAGE LOCK: The Cage Lock technology allows the derailleur to be locked in an extended position to simplify the assembly of the rear wheel or chain.
