Discovery of tolerance, a project by Tokyo-based Junko Tange, who released two LPs and one sonosheet on Vanity Records, and whose works were influential to her contemporaries, including being listed as a Vanity fave by the label's president, Yuzuru Agi, and being selected for the NWW list. This is the first time a cassette recording has been released as a stand-alone CD! The exact date of production of this work has not been determined, but it is thought to have been made around 1980, considering the period of tolerance's activities. The sound source was digitally remastered from an unearthed cassette tape. The album is recorded like a mixtape, with fragments of several songs connected seamlessly, and the hazy sound that tolerance's music has always contained, and its atmospheric appeal, stand out even more.
