Old vines planted by the grower’s grandfather, this is the first time they have sold the fruit from this vineyard. 5-10% whole clusters. 10% new oak. The new barrel is a 300L coming from Tonnellerie Mercurey. I liked the idea of the cooper being in the same commune as the vineyard. This wine greets you with an inviting aroma – and you immediately see the generous scale of this wine. The flavours of pretty pinot-noir fruit bring a delicious, stylish, personality to the wine that will have you reaching for the bottle again.'
