The White Stripes' masterpiece "Elephant", recorded over a two-week period in April 2002 at Toe Rag Studios in London, was released on April 1, 2003 and reached #6 on the US Billboard charts. The White Stripes' fourth studio album, Elephant, reached #6 on the US Billboard Albums Chart and was a worldwide smash hit, winning the 2004 Grammy Award for "Best Alternative Album" and being nominated for "Album of the Year", making it their masterpiece. The album was a huge hit around the world and became their masterpiece. The album's song "Seven Nation Army" won a Grammy Award for "Best Rock Song. The song continues to be used as a sports anthem in stadiums around the world. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album's release this year, the band is releasing a limited edition 2-LP color vinyl set, with LP1 on Red Smoke and LP2 on Clear With Red & Black Smoke.
