About the AL-40

The AL-40 features a 40mm (1-½") depth, giving artists, galleries, and conservators a bold, rigid and durable frame designed for canvases up to 84" in dimension.

• Strong yet lightweight, professional-grade corrosion resistant aluminum

• Excellent stability in challenging environments with variable temperature and moisture levels

• Ideal for small and large canvases, institutional installs, and conservation

• Large 1/2" (12 mm) setback between canvas and braces helps to avoid ghosting

All AL-40 stretcher bars feature our SpringTite™ keying system built into the stretcher corners and braces:
