One of the most important AOR to city pop artists active since the 1980s. This is the second solo album by Kingo Hamada, a singer-songwriter known for providing songs for various artists and big-name idols, from Hiromi Ota, Mariya Takeuchi, Hiromi Iwasaki, Mariko Takahashi, Hideki Saijo, and Johnny's, through the folk rock group Craft. (1981) This is his second album for air records. The album features many of the same members who are well-known for their live performances, as well as top-notch musicians such as Hidetoshi Yamada, Makoto Matsushita, Shigeru Suzuki, Yuichi Watakashiki, Yasuo Tomikura, and many others. Kingo Hamada's signature of combining an extremely sophisticated Western-style sound with melodies that appeal to the unique emotions of the Japanese is established here. The classic songs "Portrait Woman" (1) and "Listen, Baby" (2) are typical of this approach. Newly remastered by Tamotsu Yoshida in 2015, Blu-spec CD2 specification.
