Jordan Rakai is now available on the world's favorite "night listening" compilation series! The compilation features a gorgeous array of songs that are a hybrid of London's latest pop and neo-soul scenes. Known for his collaborations with Tom Misch, Loyle Carner, and others, Jordan Rakai is gaining popularity for his unique sound, described as a hybrid of London's hip pop scene, where he is based, and the neo-soul scene, where fellow countrymen like Hiatus Kaiyote are active. Jordan Rakai, who is popular for his unique sound, which can be described as a hybrid of the neo-soul scene with the likes of Hyatus Cayote and others, appears on the popular compilation series "Late Night Tales," which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. Jordan Rakai is a talented vocalist and producer who plays a variety of instruments. He selected the songs for this compilation, and through a gorgeous array of carefully selected tracks, he smoothly carves out a unique sound that draws on jazz and hip-hop. As reflected in his own music, the song-centric aspect of the mix is what makes it so appealing. Many of the artists included interact directly with Jordan, with the opening track by labelmate Fink followed by his good friend Alpha Mist.M4 "Count A Heart" features a collaboration with Morton, who says he grew up on the same street in Brisbane, Australia. This song is an exclusive track on the album. Other tracks include the haunting "He Came from the Sun" by Scottish producer and multi-instrumentalist C. Duncan, the dreamy "Virtual U" by Barcelona's Ozo Leon, and Bill Lawrence's "Singularity," which features time and The collection includes songs with an impressive sense of time and place. Jordan's exclusive cover of the series' signature song is Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Home," and on the CD, Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Home" beautifully connects to Radiohead's "Codex. Codex" and includes the new song "Imagination" as an exclusive track.The final track is a spoken word song in Spanish by Alejandro González Iñárritu, a film director with whom Jordan has been in communication and professes to be a big fan. The limited import 2LP will be released on green vinyl.
