The 1994 vintage was among the finest years in the Great Southern, with a hot, dry season producing concentrated fruit across the region. It earned 96 points and was described at the time as brilliantly Rhone-ish: spicy and elegant, with dark berry and plum flavours driving a structured, long palate. Thirty years in bottle have drawn those elements together into something rich and silky, with tannins fully resolved and the fruit sitting in composed, tertiary harmony. One of the highest-scoring vintages in the Plantagenet Museum Shiraz range and drinking at its peak right now.
