Brandt Brauer Frick founder Daniel Brandt's solo debut on Erased Tapes. A minimalist techno classic that sounds like Reich + Nils + Battles all rolled into one." The idea of "making an album with cymbals" was born out of the simplicity of traveling around the world and collaborating with a variety of artists and instruments. The album was created in a cabin in the woods for three days with all types of cymbals, and eventually developed into a grand one-man orchestra with piano, trombone, cello, drums, analog synths, and Daniel's own orchestra. The string/piano performance derived from classical music, and the minimalist track after passing through techno, it is a construction comparable to the music of the band name Brandt Brauer Frick, and an extraordinary invention that arose from an unintended place. Only the Japanese pressing includes a coupon for downloading two bonus tracks, "Pleasuredome" and "Endless Refill". Imported domestic version.
