Whiskey-makers these days like to call themselves "moonshiners" Well, Clyde May actually was a moonshiner, and he had the rap sheet to prove it. When the law came knocking, he had more than his fair share of rye grain in his possession, and the court wanted answers. And if Clyde couldn't spin a yarn the same way he could make a whiskey, he'd spend a heck of a lot long than 8 month in jail. 

Clydes famous whiskey was made on hand-built copper pots, with fresh Alabama spring water and the finest local ingredients - just like it is today. This Straight Rye Whiskey was made in his honor. Aged a minimum of 3 years.
