Produced by Vitra with the same precision and craftsmanship as the original, this edition is approximately 5cm taller and slightly deeper, offering a more generous seating experience without compromising the balanced proportions that made the Lounge Chair a design classic. The chair’s rich dark walnut veneer contrasts beautifully with its supple upholstery, highlighting the Eameses’ enduring mastery of materials and form.

Like the classic version, the New Lounge Chair features a high-quality wood shell, cushioned upholstery, and a polished metal base fitted with felt glides for hard floors, with optional plastic glides for carpets on request. The larger dimensions make it particularly suitable for modern interiors where comfort and elegance are equally valued.
