Sakya Ganden Chokhor Ling Divine Blue Water Incense Powder - Golok, Tibet

Made strictly following the formula in “Divine Blue Water, a Contamination - Purifying Smoke Offering” by the Great Master Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), more than 30 ingredients includes white and red sandalwood, Tibetan saffron, nutmeg and other precious aromatic and medicinal herbs. This incense helped the Tibetan King Trisong Detsen (742-797) recovered from his illness. Sakya lineage carries the unbroken oral lineage from Guru Rinpoche’s time until today, which makes them as one of the most authentic source of this special incense.

The Divine Blue Water is a specialized smoke offering ritual in Tibetan Buddhism designed to purify ritual contamination and pollution. While it is primarily attributed to Padmasambhava and appears in Nyingma Kama editions edited by Dudjom Rinpoche, this practice is frequently employed in the Sakya and other Tibetan lineages for clearing away obstacles, purifying negative energy, and promoting health.
