A comprehensive collection of Peter Broderick's previous piano works, Piano Works Vol. 1 (Floating in Tucker's Basement) was originally newly recorded for Piano Works Vol. 1, a music book published in 2017. Downloadable codes for all 20 pieces accompany the scorebook, and until now the only way to hear these works was to get the scorebook.This time, the original source material has been uniquely tape processed and reverbed in a custom-built echo chamber at legendary engineer and producer Tucker Martin's studio, Flora Recording & Playback, in Portland, Oregon, where Peter grew up, and the result is a more dynamic and conscious listening experience. Peter Broderick is a prolific composer, and each work has a completely different look, but this is a wonderful collection of works that focuses on him as a pianist and composer in particular.
