In 2004, Eric Clapton released "Me & Mr. Johnson" in March, an album in pursuit of his musical roots in blues music, followed by a tour of Europe - England - North America - England - Europe, starting with a concert in Barcelona, Spain on March 24 and ending in London on December 31. The band will tour a total of 64 shows throughout Europe. The April 24 concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland will be included in the BBC's special music program series "Legends from The World of Classical Music," titled "Legend of Rock: Eric Clapton. The program was recorded and broadcast as a program titled "Legend of Rock: Eric Clapton". After the broadcast, the material was not used for commercial purposes and was put in storage, but has now been remastered from the broadcast audio masters and released in the best possible sound quality. The setlist for the concert was 17 songs including encores, and although two encores were cut from the broadcast, they were added for this release, making this live album the complete concert.Nathan East & Steve Gadd, Eric Clapton's trusted rhythm section. Doyle Bramhall II, a talented young guitarist at the time. In addition, the band was supported by Billy Preston, an organ player who played with Eric Clapton on Beatles recordings in the 60's.
