Description:
In celebration of Queen's 50th anniversary, the long-unavailable "Limited Editions" of all 15 original Queen albums will be reissued in Japan only! The Works" (original release year: 1984): The eleventh album, produced in pursuit of the ideal of "the image of Queen that everyone wants" in light of the fact that "Hot Space" was a bit too cutting-edge. The change of pace in his solo career also paid off, and a fresh, pop sensibility pervades the album. The choreography for "Radio Ga Ga," written by Roger Taylor, was used in the music clips and was incorporated into the concert performances, creating a sense of unity. "Break Free," written by John Deacon, was a symbol of liberation for the oppressed people and was enthusiastically supported. The album was well-balanced, with "Eternal Vow" by Freddie Mercury and "Hammer to Fall" from the pen of Brian May also cut as singles. The bonus EP includes the B-side of the single, another mix, Queen's version of "Thank God It's Christmas," and six songs from a live performance at "Rock in Rio" in January 1985.
