The HAC-10-W Harmsco Activated Carbon Water Filter Cartridge is sized 9.75 x 2.75-inch for use in high chlorine reduction applications in most standard 10-inch filter housings. High dirt holding capacity and increased contaminant removal is built in through a filter media composite of 100% coconut carbon and polyolefin fibers wet molded and thermally bonded to prevent channeling and bypass. The result is dual stage depth filtration that will reduce dirt, rust, sediment, silt, chlorine tastes and odors in your water at a 5 micron nominal level.
