January 13, 2010, Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr is found dead at his home. 
Four years later, a simple idea launched during an evening becomes concrete: the first Tribute to Jay Reatard is published. 

At the origin of this project, three indie-rock enthusiasts authors of different misdeeds between Vienna and Lyon: organization of rock'n'roll concerts, animation of radio broadcasts, journalistic attempts on blogs or playing discs in the local bars. 

During this time, they set up an association, found a label name inspired by one of the key pieces of the discography of the guy, but above all sent tons of emails, made phone calls to obtain the rights , contacted their favorite French groups to convince them to participate in the project. 

The rest was entrusted to Studio Kerwax for the mastering, to Gilles Garrigos for the texts, to Richard Bellia for the photo and to Morgan Prudhomme for the design of the object.
