Why do we choose a Thread Lift?

As we begin to age our tissue becomes weakened, we loosen facial fat and the underlying support structure becomes lax and sagging. The main areas to suffer this sagging are our cheeks, around the eyes, the brows, the jowls and the neck, creating a longer and older looking face. 

Younger patients suffer from cheek and brow ptosis as well, often prompting them to seek procedures which are effective but less invasive than major surgery.

Features of Cogged PDO

01. A new type of thread that has cogs which lie in two directions are “open up” when implanted, “tugged,” into the subcutaneous tissue.

02. This is considered much less invasive than traditional mid-face or face and brow lifts, requiring much less operating and recovery time.

03. Initial results can be more dramatic after one or two times treatment and may even improve for over 6 months than normal PDO thread.

04. The best results are achieved in combination with Wrinkle Fillers (JBP NanoLink Fille Hyaluronic Acid), Fat Transfer, or Laser Resurfacing and JBP V Lift. Results can be variable.
