Its A2 tool steel is known for toughness and is easier to sharpen in the field than many high-wear other options. The knife also retains the traditional usefulness of a 90 degree spine that can be used to scrape tinder or ferro rods.

The natural Micarta handle offers a dependable grip and a classic look that fits the knife’s frontier-inspired style. A JRE leather sheath rounds out the package, making this a clean and practical option for bushcraft, tracking kits, day hikes, EDC and general outdoor carry.
