The soundtrack to the hit Mondo film, also known by the famous song "More," has been released on Decca! After the worldwide success of "Mondo Cane," the name "Mondo" came to be used to refer to a series of dubious documentaries that followed. The film's theme song "Modelle in Blue" was covered by Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and others, and the song "More" became a huge hit, establishing a coupling of beautiful melody and extreme imagery.Gary Numan's third album "The Pleasure Principle" released in 1979, which reached #1 in the U.S. and #16 in the U.K. with a more advanced sound than his previous album "Replicas" (1979), has been newly composed with early versions, outtakes, demo versions and more. The Pleasure Principle", Gary Newman's third album released in 1979, has been released in a 2CD/2LP edition by Beggars Arkive in a new 40th anniversary edition consisting of early versions, outtakes, demo versions, and more! The re-reconstructed album offers a more in-depth look at the evolution and production process of the band's work, and includes six previously unreleased demo/outtake tracks on the CD and two previously unreleased demo tracks on the LP. Recorded at Freerange Studios in Covent Garden, London, the album marks the first time that Gary Newman changed his name from Tubeway Army to Gary Newman's solo name, and is considered a representative work of UK New Wave. The 2LP import version will be released on orange vinyl.
