Q: Is assembly required?

Yes. Assembly is required before using the Bed Rail Advantage Traveler. For step-by-step guidance, please download the assembly instructions below.

Q: What types of beds can the Bed Rail Advantage Traveler be installed on?

This bed rail works with traditional beds including those with box springs, platforms, or slats. It is not recommended for use with adjustable beds or extra-soft mattresses.

Q: What mattress sizes are compatible with this bed rail?

The Bed Rail Advantage Traveler fits Twin through California King mattresses with heights between 6–16 inches. Do not use with an extra-soft mattress. [Click here to learn more.]

Q: Can this bed rail be used on adjustable base beds?

No. For safety reasons, we do not recommend using this bed rail on adjustable base beds.

Q: How does the bed rail attach to the bed?

It comes with a safety strap that wraps around the bed frame to keep the rail securely in place.

Q: Is this bed rail ASTM certified?

Yes. The Bed Rail Advantage Traveler has been tested and certified to meet the ASTM F3186-17 Safety Standard for Adult Portable Bed Rails, helping reduce the risk of falls and entrapment.

Stander, Inc. – Limited Lifetime Warranty

Stander, Inc. (“Stander”) warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This limited lifetime warranty applies only when the product is used according to its intended purpose and specifications. It is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered under this warranty:

1. Notify Stander in writing during the warranty period, including a description of the issue.

2. Ship the product, along with proof of purchase, to Stander.

Note: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the original purchaser. Stander does not refund or cover shipping charges.

If, upon inspection and at its sole discretion, Stander determines that the product has a material defect in materials or workmanship, Stander will either:

• Provide replacement parts, or

• Replace the product and ship the replacement to the original purchaser at no cost (excluding shipping charges to Stander).

Warranty Exclusions

This limited lifetime warranty does not cover products that are:

1. Damaged in any way, including during shipment.

2. Altered, modified, or used with unauthorized attachments.

3. Improperly installed or used contrary to Stander’s instructions.

4. Used for purposes other than those for which the product was designed or intended.

5. Damaged due to abuse, misuse, mishandling, neglect, misapplication, accident, abnormal use, or improper storage.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

Except as expressly stated above, Stander makes no other warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to:

• Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

• Any warranties arising from advertising, usage of trade, or performance standards specific to the country of import.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is the complete and exclusive warranty for this product. It supersedes all prior statements or promises and cannot be modified by any oral or written agreements outside of this document.

Limitation of Liability

The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty is the replacement of the nonconforming product.

Under no circumstances shall Stander, Inc. be liable for any special, incidental, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, whether arising from breach of warranty, breach of contract, or strict liability.

Your Legal Rights

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so these exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
