Modern Performance is pleased to offer the Caliber SRT-4 community another off the shelf piston and rod option. This kit includes JE Pistons (wrist pins & locks), JE Piston Rings, Manley H-Beam Rods. Choose between standard sized, or 20 overbore pistons.

This package is great for those of you wanting to rebuild the bottom end of your engine, but not wanting to purchase a complete rebuild kit. This way you can get the forged internals, but build your motor with whatever components you'd like.

Piston Specs:

• Lowered 1st Ring Land to maximize sleeve area (Strength) below deck
• Accumulator and Detonation relief Grooves (To lower detonation pressure spikes)
• 2618 T6 High Tensile 87M Forged Aluminum
• 0.866 x 2.250 straight wall carbon steel wrist pin provided.
• 8.6:1 Compression and available in standard (3.465) and .020 (3.485) bore sizes
• Window milling to reduce weight
• Pin fitting and spiro locks included
• Dome / Dish feature smooth flowing radii for excellent flame travel.
• Specifically engineered for extreme applications, including professional competition.
• Dome / Dish Requires No Deburring or Preparation

Manley Connecting Rod specs:

• Made from a TWO-PIECE 4340 STEEL FORGING
• X-rayed, sonic-tested, Shot Peened & magna-fluxed as part of Quality testing.
• Your choice of Manley 3/8 ARP 2000 Rod Bolts, 600+ Horsepower Rated or ARP 625 bolts for 900+horsepower.
• The manufacturing process of these forgings is designed in such a way that it ensures a superior fatigue life by forcing the grain into the shape of a Connecting Rod.
• To strengthen the Connecting Rod, the rod cap is forged separately to enable the grain to run perpendicular to the load forces.
