Now rather rare complete, a nice example of Arno C. Gaebelein's 9 volume Annotated Bible.
His works are somewhat unique in that he writes as a firm dispenationalist and fundamentalist, through a premillennial framework, and in the contexts of both the First and Second World Wars, yet avoids the sort of morbid sensationalism that often accompanies this perspective . . . he instead offers a steady, measured approach to Scripture and articulates a Christian hope in the return of Christ and His work as Lord of all, making all things new, etc., as a significant theme of all of Scripture.
Gaebelein, A. C. The Annotated Bible. The Holy Scriptures Analysed and Annotated. By A. C. Gaebelein Editor of "Our Hope". Volumes 1-9. New York. Publication Office of "Our Hope". 1913. Variously Paginated.
A good + to very good set, bound in cloth with a few corners bumped, but generally solid, with generally bright pages, light foxing, and personal ex library markings.
