into its collections over the past eight decades,
Balmain Eyewear’s Sergeant has clearly earned
its rank. An elevated spin on the classic navigator
frame, the Sergent’s front face highlights contrasts,
with the upper section’s soft geometries and
precisely etched lines perfectly complementing
the lower half’s angular edges. Guaranteeing an
impactful touch of resolute power, the Sergeant
sets a distinctive acetate insert just above the nose
bridge. The temple’s eye-catching tactile chains
echo a signature Balmain embellishment, originally
inspired by the elegant braided cords—aiguillettes—
that decorated Napoleonic uniforms. The temple’s
acetate tips are decorated with a subtle Balmain
logo and the Sergeant’s three color combinations
(gold-black, leather black-black rhodium, gold-dark
brown) have been pulled directly from the latest
Paris Fashion Week runways.
