White Oak Distillery - Akashi Black Blend 500mlAkashi 'Black' is the entry blended whisky from Eigashima's White Oak Distillery in Akashi, Hyogo prefecture, Japan's oldest licensed whisky distillery (license granted 1919). A blend of malt and grain whiskies aged on average around three to four years in ex bourbon casks with an ex sherry cask finish, bottled at 40% and non chill filtered. Soft and approachable, it is a great value introduction to the Japanese whisky category.
