For sale here is an Orvis Kit Rod 8' - 6 weight. The rod is in excellent condition. The cork is a bit soiled but only adds to the character and is otherwise in great shape. This is an impregnated rod as many of Orvis' rods are. The tip section a straight as well as the butt. The ferrules fit together tightly as they should and "pop" when pulled apart. Ferrules size 13/64. This is a 6 weight rod and is excellent for all around trout fishing, especially out west. Rod had a nice medium acton. Although this rod was finished out by the consumer the bamboo build was done by Orvis and as such features the Orvis quality. All the components came ready to put together from Orvis. Rod comes with custom made rod bag and tube.
