For sale is a Leonard Mills Model 50 raised pillar fly reel with ebonite sideplates. Excellent plus original condition. 3 inch diameter including pillars. The nickel silver foot is unmolested. No cracks exist in the hard rubber. Early Leonard patent stamp clearly visible on the headplate. The reel winds properly and has a neutral retrieve bias, so can be fished right or left hand retrieve with an adequate amount of spring tension either way. This is a very popular classic reel and will hold up to a DT3 with no backing. The reel weighs 4 1/2 oz.
