Ernie's opened in the 1930s on Montgomery Street in San Francisco and served as one of the city's premier fine dining destinations for over six decades. Its old-world elegance attracted local power brokers and Hollywood film crews alike. Few restaurants endure long enough to define a city's dining identity, but Ernie's did until closing in 1995.
Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
