The WiiM CI MOD A80 is an all-in-one stereo network player amplifier designed for modern installations where audio quality, connectivity, and integration are important. It combines a high-quality digital-to-analog conversion circuit with a highly efficient Class D amplifier stage. Thanks to its compact size (190 x 190 x 64mm) and mounting brackets, it can be easily integrated into a rack in a technical cabinet or discreet HiFi cabinet.

At the heart of this device is a 32-bit ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC converter, renowned for its high signal-to-noise ratio (~108dB) and very low distortion (THD+N ≈ -95 dB). Amplification is provided by a Texas Instruments TPA3255 Class D chip, capable of delivering 60W per channel into 8Ω and up to 120W into 4Ω. This combination allows you to drive compact speakers as well as floorstanding or in-wall models with a comfortable margin.
The CI MOD A80 offers a comprehensive range of connections: HDMI ARC input for connecting a TV and directly receiving the audio stream, Toslink optical input (up to 24-bit 192 kHz), RCA line input, USB-A port (USB Host and USB Audio), subwoofer output, and speaker terminals.
On the streaming side, it features WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz) and bidirectional Bluetooth 5.3. It supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast/Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, DLNA, and Roon.
The dedicated WiiM Home app allows you to configure multi-room zones, adjust equalization settings, and access streaming services. It also integrates numerous music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, and Apple Music.
The WiiM CI MOD A80 is also compatible with Alexa, Google, and Siri voice assistants. This means you can control it using your voice via your smartphone, HomePod, Echo, or Google Home devices.

One of the major advantages of the WiiM CI MOD A80 is its advanced DSP management: 24 genre-specific equalization presets, a 10-band graphic equalizer and a 10-band parametric equalizer, as well as integrated bass management and room correction. This flexibility allows you to fine-tune the sound output according to the acoustics of the room or the characteristics of the speakers. It is particularly well suited to multiroom or integrated installations that require precise control of each zone. Multiroom setup can be done via AirPlay 2 for Apple devices or AVS Multiroom for Amazon speakers. The WiiM CI MOD A80 can also be paired with any LinkPlay multiroom equipment.
Designed to be invisible in a rack or technical cabinet, the CI MOD A80 has limited heat dissipation, dimensions of 2U or less, and a neatly finished front panel. Rack mounting brackets are included. Thanks to these qualities, it is equally at home in a traditional HiFi installation as it is in a home automation or integration system.
