A beautiful Victorian ring, dating to the late 1800s and full of romantic natural symbolism.

Created in rich 15 carat gold, the front of the ring is adorned with a graceful arrangement of turquoise and old cut diamonds, forming a floral motif reminiscent of ivy leaves or forget-me-not flowers. The design has a wonderfully organic feel, with the stones arranged in a soft flowing pattern across the finger.

The vivid blue green turquoise contrasts beautifully against the warm gold mount, while the old cut diamonds add lively flashes of antique sparkle. Each diamond has been hand cut, giving the ring the gentle fire and character so loved in Victorian jewellery.

Both ivy and forget-me-nots carried deep sentimental meaning during the Victorian era. Ivy symbolised fidelity and enduring attachment, while forget-me-nots represented everlasting affection.

Condition: This is overall lovely victorian condition with only a fine patina of wear to the gold and stones. There is a historical sizing at the back of the band which is only noticeable by the partial loss of hallmarks.
