Easy Do-It-Yourself Application Installs in Less Than 10 Minutes in 4 Basic Steps

1) Ensure proper fit

Prior to installing the SkegPro, visually make sure the model fits well with the skeg on your motor.


2) Skeg Preparation

If needed, repair skeg to ensure proper fit before installing the SkegPro

Any spurs or jagged edges should be filed smooth so the SkegPro can slide easily onto the existing Skeg


3) Apply SkegPro onto Skeg

Using a rubber mallet, slide the SkegPro onto the existing skeg and gently tap on it to get it started. Then drive it on with the mallet until it's fully seated.


4) Drill and Install Stainless Steel Hardware

Using the pre-drilled mounting hole on the SkegPro as a pilot hole, drill the skeg using a 3/16" drill bit and install the stainless steel hardware.
