Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Philippe Colin, 2022Each of Philippe's wines clearly express their terroirs and Colin treats each plot differently. Two thirds of his 13 hectares are white, the other one third red. Philippe uses minimal chemical intervention, relatively low new oak (20 25%) and just a bit of lees stirring during elevage. His Burgundies are seamless his understanding of expressing terroir is masterful.
