For sale here is a 7'6 impregnated Orvis Battenkill bamboo rod. 3 7/8 oz. 2/2. Rated for a 6 wt but throws a 5 best. On the medium side of medium fast action. Serial number 65018, made in February of 1972. The rod is in excellent condition with only some slight soiling of the grip and a protective wrap on one tip. The blued ferrules are 12/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent. The chestnut brown, varnished, wraps all look very nice. All sections are full-length, straight, and original. Comes with original tan rod bag, original aluminum tube with green foil label and hexagonal cap. There is a hole in the bottom of the rod bag where the butt section ferrule rests.
