What a wonderful little piece of Americana! A very early, post Revolutionary War periodical having belonged to and signed by the Honorable William Cushing [1732-1810]. Confirmed in 1789 as one of the original five justices of the Supreme Court, he was put forward by George Washington himself to be Chief Justice.
