A convenient small metal panel on the back of the house slides open to reveal a 2" diameter hole for nest inspection and cleaning while keeping out unwanted visitors. Small gaps under the roof and walls of the church provide ventilation for the inside of the church bird house. The pitched roof is enhanced with sheet metal for durability and overhangs the entry hole, helping to keep the roosting birds inside dry. A wire on top of the house makes hanging the piece simple, or the flat base can accommodate a mounting plate for displaying on a pole or post.
