A Marinko Baljak "Black Beauty" 150 fly reel, 3 1/2" diameter and set up for LHW. The maker's name and the model are stamped into each side of the reel foot. The reel appears to be unfished. It weighs 14.1 ounces on my scale. Classic S-handle design with brightly polished aluminum frame, spool and foot, with black matte sideplates. The backplate has a poacher's knob, oil port, and then a drag adjustment dial that is more akin to a Hermann reel than a Bogdan. The drum style drag is a variation of the Bogdan style and quite similar. I believe Mr. Baljak builds these reels from his workshop in Croatia. The reel packs into a red fleece drawstring pouch.
