The upper is built from Ripstop, a 100% recycled polyester fabric with a reinforced mesh pattern of interwoven fine and thicker yarns that resists tearing — if a tear does occur, it's contained to the circumference of a single square, making it one of the most durable technical uppers available in sustainable running footwear. Below that, VEJA's material engineering goes deep: the midsole uses Expanded Rubber Technology combining Amazonian rubber with bio-sourced E.V.A., a bio-based dynamic plate made from 76% sugarcane provides propulsion and stability, and the outsole blends Amazonian rubber with mineral silica for grip across surfaces. At 295g with an 8mm drop and a neutral stride profile, it performs like a serious running shoe — because it is one.
