How Does This Fit into Your System?

This Hang-On-Back Protein skimmer is highly efficient and compact. It will fit on aquariums with rims up to 3/4" thick and with a minimum tank height of 10-7/8". The hang-on-back design allows for the incorporation of a protein skimmer onto almost any saltwater aquarium, particularly those that don't have a separate sump filtration system.

How Can This Help My Aquarium?

A protein skimmer has many benefits to a saltwater aquarium including filtration and gas exchange. The use of a pump and a diffuser create air bubbles and foam that work to separate waste from the aquarium water and also help gas exchange which oxygenates the water.
