Olympus CX43 Fluorescence Microscope

The Olympus CX43 fluorescence microscope is equipped with a reflected fluorescence illuminator with integrated LED illumination for blue excitation (470 nm). Additionally, the microscope has a 7-position filter wheel with appropriate apertures, FL with shutter and a disc for dark field microscopy. The 5x objective nosepiece contains 4 high-quality plan achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x and 100x/oil).

The binocular phototube can be used with an appropriate camera to document the specimens. Due to the 50/50 distribution of the beam path, the specimen can be examined and documented simultaneously.

The fluorescence microscope is particularly popular for examining cellular structures. As a result, it is often used in pathology, oncology or immunology. In addition, the microscope can be used for normal light field microscopy as well as dark field microscopy, thanks to the integrated dark field disc.
