Does this include the handshower and hose?
The handshower and hose are NOT included.
Is the handshower holder fixed or can it be adjusted?
There is 21 inches of vertical adjustment, allowing you to position your handshower at the ideal height and angle.
How long is the slide bar?
The Adjustable Slide Bar is 28 inches long. Refer to the spec sheets for other important measurements.
How does this attach to the wall?
The slide bar is installed using mounting brackets and screws. Follow the steps listed in the installation manual.
Can this be used with any showerhead?
The Adjustable Slide Bar can be mounted with any shower system, it works with any standard handshower. With its flexible installation, place slide bar at desired height and position.
Is there tilt on the part that holds the handshower?
This is fully adjustable, you can tilt the holder as long as your wall distance allows you to.
The distance between the holes for the mounting brackets is 22.75 inches. Refer to the spec sheets and manual for additional information.
Can this slide bar be used as a support or handhold balance?
This slide bar is not made to be used as a support device. We do offer the ErgoSlideBar and ErgoSafetyBar as part of our Aging In Place line.
