Highly polished aluminum rims with black sideplates, all done in the classic S-handle design. 1 1/4" spool width and the reel weighs 11.3 ounces on my scale. Serial number "118" which is stamped into the underside of the foot crossbar along with "P. Hermann, Maker". An entirely benchmade reel down to the screws, and Dr Hermann made just a little over 200 of these salmon models. Bogdan-style drag system with a 1.9:1 multiplying retrieve. A superb example of Dr. Hermann's craft, this reel packs into a red fleece drawstring pouch.
